Nocky Mountains

A "must" for every fan of the Carinthian Alpine roads is the gentle Nockalm Road with numerous attractions. Before we have this driving pleasure, however, we drive from Lerchenhof in the direction of Weißbriach, over the Kreuzberg past the natural jewel Weissensee and on towards Spittal an der Drau. Highly recommended: a stopover in the artists' town of Gmünd or via the Malta High Alpine Road through the "Valley of the Falling Waters" to the imposing Kölbrein dam wall. The Nockalm Road experience takes us through the unique Nockberge Biosphere Park and we land after wonderful impressions in the World Cup ski resort Bad Kleinkirchheim. From there you return to Hermagor via Windische Höhe.
