To the Pragser Wildsee & Staller Sattel

Tour description

We start - gently embedded in the Carnic and Gailtal Alps - from Lerchenhof via Hermagor towards Kötschach-Mauthen, where the most natural valley in Europe - the Lesachtal - begins. We dive into a unique mountain landscape and enjoy the way to Sillian, the last place before the Italian border. And already we go to the world-famous Dolomites, where we find our destination - the beautiful Pragser Wildsee - in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. The tour leads back over the East Tyrolean Defreggental (over the Staller saddle at 2,052 m) and the Drautal. Another tip: a detour to the natural jewel of lake Weissensee.
